project blended: portraits of diversity
I began Project Blended in February of 2008. I have always been fascinated with issues of interracial and cross-cultural mingling. I am of mixed heritage; my mother is African-American and my father is Mexican-American. I began photographing mixed race couples and individuals as a way to celebrate the growing interculturalism of our society.
